The HOA in that community is active — they've been flagging mismatched fence heights and unapproved panel colors for the past several years. Marina Hills sits just north, with similar lot profiles but slightly newer construction (mid-1980s to early 1990s) and a higher percentage of pool yards requiring compliant 60-inch barrier fencing with self-closing, self-latching gates per California pool code. Salt Creek area near the 73 toll road corridor is where we see the most coastal salt-air exposure — close enough to the Pacific that metal hardware on wood or aluminum fences corrodes within 3–5 years.
